We are building an enterprise-grade software, specifically designed for the complexities and unique regulatory environment of the Myanmar market, aimed at Retail and Digital Commerce.
The Opportunity
We are looking for high-energy, tech-savvy Customer Acquisition Staff to join our growth team on a project basis.
This role is at the forefront of our expansion, responsible for visiting retail shop owners across Yangon to demonstrate and sell our modern POS software. The ideal candidate is a “hunter” who enjoys field-based activity and has the ability to translate digital features into real business value for local retail shops.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Field Sales Execution and Customer Acquisition
- Execute daily in-person visits to retail locations within assigned territories to identify and engage with prospective shop owners.
- Conduct hands-on, compelling product demonstrations of the POS software using mobile or tablet devices.
- Clearly articulate the business value of digitizing retail operations, focusing on inventory
accuracy and digital payments. - Manage the ground-level sales cycle from initial cold-approach through to closing the deal and collecting onboarding documentation.
- Consistently meet or exceed weekly and monthly targets for shop visits and new sign-ups.
2. PIPELINE MANAGEMENT AND DAILY REPORTING
- Rigorously log all field activities, shop visit outcomes, and follow-up schedules using mobile CRM tools.
- Provide timely activity updates to the Customer Acquisition Lead to ensure territory coverage is optimized.
- Ensure all shop data collected during the field visit is accurate and complete for the
implementation team.
3. TECHNICAL PROFICIENCY AND BRAND REPRESENTATION
- Maintain a strong understanding of the POS software’s features and unique value
propositions. - Troubleshoot basic software demonstration issues on the fly to ensure a smooth “live” experience for the customer.
- Represent the company professionally in the local business community, acting as a trusted advisor on digital transformation.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 1+ years of experience in direct sales, preferably in software, fintech, or digital services.
- High level of comfort with mobile/tablet-based apps and the ability to perform fluid software demonstrations.
- Ability to conduct frequent, in-person field visits to retail locations across Yangon (daily field-based role).
- Strong persuasion, negotiation, and closing skills with a “hunter” mentality.
- Basic proficiency in using CRM software or mobile reporting apps for daily activities.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience selling software (especially Retail POS or Digital Commerce software) within
the Myanmar market. - Existing knowledge of or a network within the retail landscape in specific Yangon townships.
- Experience engaging with small-to-medium business owners and operational stakeholders.
