We are building an enterprise-grade software, specifically designed for the complexities and uniqueregulatory environment of the Myanmar market, aimed at Retail and Digital Commerce.

The Opportunity
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Customer Acquisition Manager to lead our sales
organization and drive the large-scale adoption of our retail software suite.
This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for defining sales strategies, managing a multitiered field team, and ensuring the achievement of ambitious growth targets across the Myanmar market. The ideal candidate is a veteran of the software industry with a deep understanding of B2B sales cycles and the ability to manage both permanent leads and project- based field forces.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Sales Leadership and Growth

  • Develop and oversee the execution of the high-touch software sales strategy to dominate the retail sector.
  • Define monthly and quarterly revenue targets (quotas) and take full accountability for the department’s performance.
  • Strategize on complex or high-value accounts, providing senior-level support to the
    Customer Acquisition Leads to close key deals.
  • Continuously refine the sales process based on field data to improve the Return on
    Investment (ROI) of our digitizing efforts for shops.

2. Team Management and Performance Optimization

  • Lead and mentor a team of Customer Acquisition Leads, ensuring they effectively
    manage their respective pods of field specialists.
  • Oversee the recruitment, training, and performance standards for the project- based field force to ensure high-quality software demonstrations.
  • Foster a high-performance culture focused on discipline, technical proficiency, and local
    market expertise.

3. Pipeline Oversight and Executive Reporting

  • Maintain a macro-level view of the sales pipeline using CRM tools, ensuring accurate
    forecasting and activity tracking.
  • Provide high-level sales reports and strategic updates to senior executive
    leadership.
  • Collaborate closely with the Marketing team to align lead generation campaigns with field sales capacity.

4. Product Strategy and Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Act as the primary voice of the customer, collaborating with Product Managers to ensure the software roadmap meets the evolving needs of Myanmar shops.
  • Translate field insights and competitive intelligence into actionable product
    improvements and new feature requirements.
  • Ensure a seamless transition between the acquisition phase and technical
    implementation for a superior customer experience.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in B2B sales or business development, with at least 3 years in a
    senior management role within the software or SaaS industry.
  • Proven track record of managing large, multi-tiered sales teams and achieving multimillion dollar targets.
  • Deep expertise in navigating complex enterprise organizations and closing high- stakes
    deals.
  • Expert-level proficiency in CRM management and data-driven sales reporting.
    Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and strategic planning skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience leading the launch of Retail POS or Digital Commerce software
    within the Myanmar market.
  • A high-level network of C-level or operational stakeholders within the local business
    community.
  • Advanced understanding of the Retail and Digital Commerce landscape in Yangon
