In celebration of the sacred Buddhist Kahtein season, a time of great merit that comes only once a year, the Myanmar ZARLA Distribution family successfully held its 16th Annual Kahtein Donation Ceremony at Aung Chan Thar Monastery in Pyin Oo Lwin on Saturday, October 11, 2025.

Led by the company’s Managing Director and family, together with the heartfelt generosity of employees, a total donation exceeding MMK 130 million was collected. As the first monastery to receive this year’s offerings, Aung Chan Thar Monastery was presented with over MMK 33 million, along with Kahtein robes, religious materials, and construction fund contributions.

In addition to the robe offering, the event included an alms donation, where attendees served rice and traditional curries to the Monks and guests, further cultivating spiritual merit.

Myanmar ZARLA Distribution shared that this merit-making occasion is dedicated to all who see or hear of it may everyone share equally in the blessings.
